About Ryan
Ryan Palma — Bay Area, since 1989.
I grew up in Fremont, CA, and started taking photos as a kid. For years I shot bands at local shows — not for money, just because I loved it and had a camera that could see in the dark when no one else did.
Now I work independently. I shoot one client at a time and hand-edit every frame. Most of the work is made on location — in homes, lofts, rehearsal rooms, and the foggy corners of San Francisco.

Client Words
"Ryan has a way of making you forget the camera is there. The photos look like me — not a polished version of me."
